Taking photos is so much fun and an excellent hobby, but wouldn't it be nice to make a little bit (or a lot!) of money doing what you love to do? Some people already are, by selling rights to their original photos. If you're thinking of selling rights to your original photos, check out these websites:
Shutterstock: Stock photos. Earn money from your photos, illustrations, vectors, and footage. With Shutterstock, you can earn 25 cents to 28 dollars per image download.
Getty Images: Stock photos. Getty Images seeks professional photographs, videos, and music. Very high standards.
Fotolia: Stock photos. Earn royalty on the sales of your photos. Signing up is free and easy. This is probably one of the better stock photo sites for beginners to get set up on.
Red Bubble: Print on demand. Sell your creative photographs/artwork as prints, stickers, t-shirts, and more.
Zazzle: Print on demand. Turn your photos into posters, keychains, t-shirts, and more.
If you are just looking to get more photos together for the articles you write, you can also work on building a backlog of photos.
