teaberry plants I gathered last year did not survive the winter at my current home. They browned up and died, as did almost everything that I planted along that part of the yard. Since nothing made it worth transferring to my new location, I am a bit glad that I didn't attempt to harvest any of the herbs for personal use. Who knows what is in this old soil.
As for the teaberry plants, I plan on grabbing a new batch. There are a lot of pine trees at the other house, so I will be planting them in the acidic soil that they apparently love. The sweet, candy gum smelling herbs should pretty up the pine needle ground just nicely.
