Shelf Life of Cornstarch

Cornstarch is used as a thickener. People use it to thicken meat juices and turn it into gravy. Cornstarch is also used to thicken pies. After the box is open, the shelf life of cornstarch is 18 months. To prevent cornstarch from moisture, transfer the cornstarch to a clean, dry jar after the box is open.
