5 Sayings Writers Should Never Use

There are certain sayings that writers should never say out loud. Here are 5 of the most common ones.

1. I Don’t Get Paid Enough to Care

Excuse me? You are paid for what you write. If you feel you aren’t getting paid enough for a project, you have the option to find a higher paying project. If you don’t feel that you are being paid enough for the books you publish on Kindle, maybe you really should start caring about your writing skills.

2. I’ll Do It Tomorrow or Later

You can’t keep putting off your writing until tomorrow. Make a schedule for your writing and keep to that schedule no matter what.

3. I Can’t Do That

This saying is just as bad as the word “impossible.”

Yes, you can do that, but only if you put your mind to it and your skills to use.

4. It is what it is

No. As a writer, it is what you make it to be.

5. I Don’t Know How

Not knowing is no excuse for a writer. There are books and videos that will teach you everything you want to know.
