Seasoned Meatloaf

Seasoned Meatloaf

Makes 8 servings.


  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a shallow baking pan. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onions, cornflakes, tomato paste, eggs, oregano, salt, garlic salt, and Tabasco sauce. Shape mixture into a loaf on the baking pan and bake for 45 minutes. Carefully remove from oven, top with cheese slices, and put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
